We are very blessed at NCS with wonderful, talented and committed teachers and last Tuesday, four of our teaching staff were recognised at the Australian College of Educators' regional teaching award presentation held at Cedars Christian College.
The evening brought together family, friends and colleagues of those nominated and celebrated the rich diversity of educational talents the teachers in our region display.
NCS staff members recognised at this prestigious event were Mrs Ellery, Mrs Dallimore, Mr Vidler and Mr Parker.
Mrs Ellery was recognised for advocacy of the Creative Arts through co-curricular and curricular activity, ongoing coordination of Eisteddfod items and her role as Director of dramatic productions at NCS over a number of years. Unfortunately Mrs Ellery was unable to attend on the night.
Mr Parker was recognised for supporting students over many years, particularly in the sporting field, as well as championing charitable activities, such as Relay For Life and Compassion, and for his faithful service as a school leader for many years.
Mrs Dallimore was recognised for her faithful and committed service as a staff member of Nowra Christian School for 30 years, as well as for her knowledge of NESA requirements and procedures. Mrs Dallimore's work is of high quality and she spends a lot of her time ensuring that it is accurate.
Mr Vildler was recognised for his faithful service as teacher at Nowra Christian School for over 30 years, as well as his Godly and faithful service as Careers Adviser for many years.
Well done to all these teachers. If you would like to hear what Mrs Dallimore and Mr Vidler have to say about their time teaching, watch the video below.
