School Receptionist

A key role presenting a positive impression of Nowra Christian School to callers and visitors, as well as carrying out front-desk activities, first-aid and general administrative support.

  • Great position for an experienced Receptionist who always delivers the highest level of customer service.

  • Monday-Friday (8am - 4pm), may also be required to work some school holidays.

Nowra Christian School are currently inviting applications from committed Christians of Protestant persuasion who are active in their local church, to join our team in 2025, as a:

Selection Criteria

  • A strong Christian faith and an active member of a local Protestant church

  • Outstanding administrative and customer service skills across a range of tasks including support for the administration team, teachers and students

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as a excellent attention to detail

  • Work effectively both independently and as a member of a team showing initiative and flexibility, whilst maintaining confidentiality and respect

  • A friendly, calm, courteous and caring manner

  • Ability to multi-task, be highly organised and work well in a fast-paced environment

  • Customer-focused with a ‘can-do’ attitude

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

  • Relevant administration qualifications (Certificate III or above) or extensive administration experience would be highly regarded

Mandatory Requirements

  • Reference from current Protestant church minister

  • Completion of the school’s online application form

  • Current NSW Working With Children Check approval number

  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
