Primary celebrate 'Vegtember'

During the last three weeks of Term 3, our primary students celebrated 'Vegtember". Some Stage 3 students grew tomato seedlings to give out this term to any students who would like to grow their own crunch 'n' sip vegetables at home. Students from Kindy to Year 6 munched and crunched their way through hundreds of pieces of 'nude' (in God's packaging) fruit and vegetables.

We hope that the students will maintain these healthy eating habits and continue to bring their 'nude' fruit and vegetables in Term 4. Each class had the opportunity to win a fruit and veg platter by eating the most fruit and vegetables over the three week period. There was one winning class per stage. A healthy and enjoyable time was had by all.
