The SYNERGY Leadership Training Day was extremely beneficial for us, as a new group of prefects, to bring us closer together as a leadership team. We presented a speech to student leaders and Principals from other Christian schools in our region. Presenting the speech helped us to realise our goals and visions for the year.
I gained the most from the public speaking workshop, which has really encouraged me to improve my public speaking and has provided me with specific strategies I can use as a leader.
Another enjoyable part of the day was meeting the student leaders, from the other Christian school’s, over breakfast. I really enjoyed making friends with these leaders and sharing what we hope to achieve over the coming year.
