When an art gallery calls an artist and wants to exhibit their work, you know that artist is successful!
Seven NCS HSC Visual Arts students have their HSC artworks showcased at the 'New Horizons' exhibition at Shoalhaven Regional Gallery. Exhibiting wonderful technical skill and contemporary ideas, the works are as individual as those who created them.
Mr Bray officially opened the exhibition in front of a huge crowd who gathered to celebrate the students' success. He spoke of the determination and skill required by the students as well as the added skill in writing about artists in their HSC Visual Arts examination. Not an easy feat, but it can be done! This exhibition is evidence of just that.
If you want to be amazed by some wonderful creative talent, make sure you check it out! 'New Horizons' is on display until March 7 at 12 Berry Street, Nowra. Open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm. Congratulations to Saphyre B, Lydia B, Charlotte D, Ben F, Kyrah H and Kieren S on your excellent achievements. I'm very proud!
