On Friday, 30 August, six of our school’s top mountain bike riders travelled to Canberra to compete in the 2024 ACT Schools Mountain Bike Championships. Out of seven teams, our senior team, made up of Eli, Ned, and Ethan L, secured an impressive 3rd Place, with Ethan’s exceptional bike control shining through on the challenging course.
In the junior team, Levi wowed everyone with his technical skill, hitting some incredible scrubs as he reached the top of the hill just in time for Tom to squeeze in another lap, helping the team achieve a massive total of 10 laps. Sim tore through the rollers like a seasoned pro, while Tom took on the pump track with ease.
The boys returned home injury-free, bringing back not only their achievements but also the memories of an unforgettable experience. We look forward to sending even more teams to this exciting event in the future!
