I completed my Bachelor of Education at the Christian University of Ede, Holland. It is a real blessing to be able to teach and inspire students. God has given every student different abilities and talents, it is my hope to encourage students to discover, explore and develop themselves in a positive and encouraging environment.

I am thankful to have been a part of the vibrant NCS community since 2001. My husband and I have four boys who all attend the school. During my time at NCS I have been both a classroom and RFF teacher. Since 2009 I have specialised in the Creative and Performing Arts. I love the fact that I get to teach all the fun stuff! I now also teach Secondary Drama. I am also involved in co-curricular Creative Arts activities. I run the Primary drama club and work with secondary students in major productions and smaller group performances. I work with both the Primary and Infants choirs. I think it is very important for children and young people to be given the opportunity to grow in confidence through performance.

I began working at NCS as a casual teacher in 2015. I had spent 15 years at Jervis Bay Christian Community School as a class teacher, mainly working with Infants children. Prior to moving to this area in 1993, I taught in several places in NSW in the state system of education. I really enjoy teaching Christianly, where Jesus is Lord. My experience here at Nowra Christian School has been uplifting and I have grown in my Christian faith and professional life.

I started at NCS in 2018 as the 5/6L classroom teacher. I have known many people from NCS over the years since I began attending Nowra Baptist Church in 1999, and I look forward to getting to know many more students and families. My background is in Chemical Engineering and I have worked since 2005 in music education and as a violinist. I went on to study primary teaching through the University of Wollongong in 2013, and have spent the last 4 years teaching at Nowra East Public school. I enjoy reading, maths and travel, and I am looking forward to many great learning experiences with my students. It is a great privilege and responsibility to work with so many wonderful students, families and colleagues.
Mrs Meredith Longfield

Kindergarten Teacher
Over the past 25 years I have worked as an Early Childhood educator across a number of settings. I began teaching at NCS in 2010. I value the child as strong, capable and resilient, rich with wonder and knowledge. I believe every child has a deep curiosity and potential and this innate curiosity drives an interest to understand their world. My desire is to inspire my students to learn, explore, engage and enliven their imagination in an environment that is creative, warm and loving. It is a real privilege to impact the lives of my students and being able to share God's love and truths with them is an absolute joy.
Mrs Hayley Martin

My family are a part of a great christian church. Working at NCS is a dream come true.

Mrs Vicki Norsworthy

I started working as a Teachers Aide in Kindergarten at NCS in 2011 after being a parent helper. NCS is such a wonderful environment to work in and also for our children to learn and to grow in, as my children have and are currently. I love being creative and I get to do this on a daily basis with our special Kindy children. For me it is a pleasure, an honour and a privilege to be part of the Kindergarten children's lives as they start their learning journey.

I began working at NCS in 2008 and find being part of the staff team at Nowra Christian School is a great privilege. My family and I moved to the South Coast from Sydney in 2008 and love the place. I teach in the Primary School and especially love to help students 'catch the reading bug'! 5 words which sum life up for me (in no particular order!): 'melody, words, Jesus, family, reds'.

I finished my teaching degree in 2010 and did some casual teaching before starting full time at NCS in 2012. I teach in the primary department and have a unique passion for the school having been a student here myself for grades 6 – 12. I wanted to be a teacher from an early age and was largely inspired by the wonderful teachers who taught me. I desire to see all students succeed and enjoy school, but one of the best things about teaching at NCS is the opportunity to tell students about Jesus.
