During the massive week that was week 4, Mr West and Mr Harrison took 16 keen secondary students to the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre to sing in the Eisteddfod. After a week that was already full of tunes from Bye Bye Birdie, the secondary choir mustered together to sing two pieces that they had been working hard on all year.
The choir performed beautifully in singing 'Down to the River' and did our school proud as they were challenged with the very difficult piece 'South Australia'. In the end, Ulladulla High School scored very high in both of their songs and so NCS was awarded second place.
Special mention goes to our three year 12 students who call this their last Eisteddfod as students; Jasmine Dickinson, Rachel Hill and Caleb Mackie. The dedication that they have shown over the past years clearly shows the love they have for singing and for uplifting our school community.
The excitement was very clear with all the students who went and we are all looking forward to heading back for next year's Eisteddfod.
